Maphack is considered a cheat because on battle.net the game changes up the map from its pool. So, when you farm while using a map hack. Your increasing productivity by having more chances to get better items by knowing exactly where to go.
Another factor is although ladder is a joke in regards to ranking. It’s still considered competition and a map hack will mean less chance of a player getting mobbed by enemies when searching for the next level of a dungeon. Idk man I been watching speed runs and people get really good and learning how maps are spliced together. And I been playing myself and finding that the normal difficulty maps are actually really easy to figure out when you start learning the patterns. You get to a place where you're like, 'hm, it looks like the exit is right' or whatever and you're correct a lot of the time.
And as far as this 'you need great gear to play in hell' stuff, I watched some guys speedrun from ladder reset to first ubers clear. They did it in 8 hours, and they did not have gg gear. All gear was found while they were playing

It DOES NOT have nothing to do with your timeouts nor pixels...
It is client > server then server < client which is packet based.
D2BS is the only bot which could get away with fooling the system truly because of a .dll of cGuard which will be no more and now blizzard / b.net can ban them silly because it will never be updated.
Clientless bots well b.net needs to step their game up on that since trying to detect them is harder than D2BS (well was).
