Searching for the perfect sound pushes our engineers on and on. The 64 Bit audio DSP and throughout sophisticated signal processing with 96 kHz sampling rate and native 32 Bit resolution as well as the new separated AD and DA signal converters from Asahi Kasei provide outstanding sound quality. Ideal for the processing of High-Res audio signals with an audio bandwidth of more than 40 kHz. Besides that the DSP.3 offers our unique DSP sound features like the ”Augmented Bass Processing”, the “StageXpander” or the “RealCenter“ function which open new possibilities to tweak your audio system. ACO – Advanced 32 Bit platform
Logically the DSP.3 is now equipped with the new, extraordinary powerful 32 Bit ACO (Advanced CoProcessor) platform. This takes over all monitoring tasks and provides a decisive speed increase particularly in data communication with our DSP PC-Tool software, but also when switching between different sound setups in only 300 msec. In addition, the ACO offers 10 internal memory locations for sound setups instead of the usual two as well as an integrated, channel-separated Input EQ and our Input Signal Analyzer (ISA) for easy analysis and compensation of input signals. By doing so it is possible to de-equalize any ex-factory sound tunings which significantly simplifies the integration of several signal sources.
The HELIX DSP PRO MK2 will reactivate the remote output within a second if a music signal is applied. It is possible to either modify the turn-off time of 60 sec. Or completely deactivate the “Power Save Mode” via the DSP PC-Tool software. Automatic Digital Signal Detection. Easy configuration thanks to the professional and user-friendly DSP PC-Tool Version 3 software; Power Save Mode The Power Save Mode is incorporated in the basic setup. It allows to significantly reduce the power consumption of the amplifiers that are connected to the Helix DSP once there’s no input signal present for more than 60 seconds. Helix Director: The DSP PRO MK2 is designed to be used with the optional Helix Director, a wired remote control that adds flexibility and control over the DSP functions without having to access the PC-Tool software. Its 2.8-inch color touchscreen, with 180-degree display rotation and auto-dimming, can control amp input source selection, volume.
Extensive basic feature set

Special features:96 kHz sampling rate
The HELIX DSP.3 allows to handle all signals with the doubled sampling rate of 96 kHz. Thus the audio bandwidth is no longer limited to usual values like 22 kHz but allows an extended frequency response to more than 40 kHz. Doubling the sampling rate requires significantly higher DSP power as the number of possible arithmetic operations is halved.
Only the implementation of the latest DSP chip generation allows raising the sampling rate to 96 kHz and adding new features at the same time.ACO - Advanced 32 Bit CoProcessor
The HELIX DSP.3 incorporates an extraordinary powerful 32 Bit CoProcessor of the latest generation for all monitoring and communication tasks,
both internally and externally. In opposite to the 8 Bit predecessor generation this MCU achieves way higher speeds with respect to setup switching and data communication with our DSP PC-Tool software.
A further significant advantage is the integrated, native boot loader of the CoProcessor. It allows software upgrades of all components of the DSP in order to adjust the microcontroller-controlled ADEP.3 circuit for example at future modifications / changes in the diagnostic system of factory radios or if the device will be extended with additional interfaces.
In addition, thanks to the new flash memory, the ACO offers 10 memory locations for sound setups instead of the common two.Smart highlevel input ADEP.3
Modern, factory-installed car radios incorporate sophisticated possibilities of diagnosing the connected speakers. In particular the latest generation of car radios are equipped with additional monitoring functions so that failure messages and loss of specific features (e.g. fader function) quite often appear if a signal processor will be hooked up – but not with the DSP.3.
The new ADEP.3 circuit (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection, 3rd Generation) avoids all these problems without loading the speaker outputs of the OE radio during high volumes unnecessarily.Start-Stop capability
The switched power supply of the HELIX DSP.3 assures a constant internal supply voltage even if the battery’s voltage drops to 6 Volts during engine crank.Power Save Mode
The Power Save Mode is incorporated in the basic setup. It allows to significantly reduce the power consumption of the amplifiers that are connected to the HELIX DSP.3 once there’s no input signal present for more than 60 seconds. Please note that in many up-to-date cars with “CAN” or any other internal bus structures it may happen that the radio remains “invisibly” turned on for up to 45 min. even after locking and leaving the car! Once the “Power Save Mode“ is active the remote output and therefore the connected amplifiers will be turned off. The HELIX DSP.3 will reactivate the remote output within a second if a music signal is applied. It is possible to either modify the turn-off time of 60 sec. or completely deactivate the “Power Save Mode” via the DSP PC-Tool software.Automatic Digital Signal Detection
Switching from analog input to the digital input is done automatically as soon as a signal is detected on the Optical Input. This feature can be deactivated in the DSP PC-Tool software. Alternatively you can use an optional remote control for manual switching between analog and digital inputs.

What's new in DSP PC-Tool 4.72a:
- ATM - This software version contains the first official release of our proprietary 'Automatic Time Measurement' function. Since the first beta test version, the ATM has been continiously improved and enhanced to ensure its operability on most of all applications. The ATM offers now the option to select different input sources (e.g. Digital Input or Extension Card input) for non-VCP devices to enable a measurement through all possible inputs of the DSP. In addition a result page has been added after the measurement process which allows the comparison of the time alignment adjustment 'before' and 'after' the ATM process. The result page will also offer detailed guidance and assistance if a measurement failed. The whole menu has also be updated by several explanations and the ATM function can now be directly started in the Time window
- DCM - A new function called 'Device Monitor' has been added. The device monitor is available for all ACO platform enabled products and shows live temperature data within an adjustable time frame as a graph and min/max values. For some specific DSP amplifiers (needs to be equipped with a 'Regulated Power Supply' & the 'ACO platform' - currently HELIX V EIGHT DSP, HELIX V TWELVE DSP, MATCH M 5DSP MK2) an input voltage monitor is also available which allows to check the stability of the input voltage especially during operation.

Helix Dsp Tuning Software
The application comes with an intuitive interface that is split into five sections, namely Main menu, DCM for specific settings, IO where you can configure the input and output, Time to show you all channels and RTA, which is used for frequency analysis in the car.
As you probably figured out from the menus, you can arrange all the input and output channels individually or mix them based on the system in your vehicle. Moreover, the app comes with an intelligent distance mode that helps you figure out the ideal audio signal based on your listening position.
It is worth mentioning that the program enables run-time correction are adjustable at very fine resolution levels, including at 96 kHz sampling rate in 0.01 ms. Additionally, the polarity is separately configurable for each signal receiver and you can easily adjust the detailed phase settings for high-frequency, midrange and the subwoofer channel.
Comes with a scalable GUI that fits all screens and resolutions
According to the manufacturer, the application is highly scalable so you should be able to configure your digital signal processor regardless of the type of car you install it in.
